Good Times With Good Boy Vodka

If it seems like Good Boy Vodka is all over the place on social media and at the Lake of the Ozarks for this week’s Super Cat Fest and Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in Central Missouri, that’s because it is. Thanks to a concerted effort by performance boater Alex Pratt, who owns a 48-foot MTI branded in Good Boy Vodka guise, the new vodka brand is making a huge splash at the lake this week for its official launch.

The Speedonthewater.com team has spent a good amount of time with Pratt this week helping to promote the label and gather some cool content for the site, the digital magazine and the 2020 Year In Review. We’ve even put together a few videos featuring Good Boy Vodka and the boat, one of which you can watch at right. Check out the others on the SOTW YouTube page.

Although he’s been busier than he normally would be at a poker run or other boating event, Pratt is having a blast. That seems pretty clear judging by his smile in this image shot by speedonthewater.com chief photographer Pete Boden during our photo shoot on Thursday.

On top of Wednesday evening’s Shootout on the Strip gathering where Good Boy Vodka had a huge presence, Pratt kicked off his four-day launch party by sponsoring the jam-packed Performance Boat Center welcome party on Thursday night. Today, Good Boy Vodka is presenting Super Cat Fest hosted at Camden on the Lake Resort, and on Saturday and Sunday, Good Boy Vodka is throwing pool parties starting at 11 a.m. at Coconuts Caribbean Beach Bar and Tap & Grill Lake Side Brew Haus, respectively.

“We’re having a great time, and everyone is loving Good Boy Vodka,” Pratt said. “The best part is that we’re just getting started. Remember—every pour helps a pup!”
