Outerlimits Factory Fun Run Coming Back In 2023

An instant hit with Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats customers and vendors when it happened for the first time in August 2019, the second Outerlimits Factory Fun Run is set for July 20-23, 2023. The event\, which is part of the company’s yearlong 30th anniversary celebration, will be based out of Outerlimits headquarters in Bristol, R.I.

“We don’t have all the logistics planned yet, but we wanted to get out a ‘save the date’ announcement as soon as possible so our customers could start planning,” said Dan Kleitz, the boatbuilder’s national sales manager. “We do know the run will be based out of Borden Light Marina in Massachusetts and we’ll be working there with our friend Mike Lund and his crew.”

Said Kleitz, “We will provide a real New England boating experience.”

Among the longtime Outerlimits clients who enjoyed the 2019 event is Vinnie Diorio of Wisconsin. He and his wife, Danielle, plan to return for the 2023 event with their SC 37 catamaran.

“They knocked it out of the park in 2019,” said Diorio, who currently runs a 39-foot Outerlimits catamaran in offshore racing’s competitive Super Cat class. “It was better than anyone expected.”

The Borden Light Marina is returning as the host venue.

“Most likely we will run to Newport (R.I.) again, we may go to Block Island—a lot depends on the weather,” Kleitz explained. “But just as we did in 2019, we will provide a real New England boating experience. A lot of people don’t know how nice it is here for boating.”

Outerlimits will release more details on the event in the coming months.

Outerlimits customers from all over the country, as well as Europe, enjoyed the 2019 event.
