Big Thunder Marine Acquires Ozark Yacht Club
A thriving Fountain, Donzi, Baja and Statement high-performance powerboat dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri, Big Thunder Marine will expand from two marina locations—in addition to its two showroom facilities—to three this year. The company has acquired Ozark Yacht Club, which is a “premier, full-service marina” according to a press released today on the Big Thunder Marine Facebook.

“We’re excited to start the new year with the addition of Ozark Yacht Club! It’s a beautiful property and we look forward to welcoming the OYC Team into the Big Thunder Team” said Jeremy Anderson, Big Thunder Marine’s general manager, in the release.
In 2016, the dealership purchased Glencove Marina. Four years later it purchased Lake Port Marina.
“We’re excited to add such a beautiful property and I look forward to developing OYC into a Premier destination for our clients,” said Fred Ross, the owner of Big Thunder Marine, in the release.
With docks, a complete fuel dock, a restaurant and more, the Ozark Yacht is Big Thunder’s latest acquisition.
The Ozark Yacht Club facility includes six “executive-level” rental homes with a total capacity of 97 guests, 110 wet slips, a fuel dock, marine services, powerboat rentals and more. The property’s Lakeside Cafe and the Anchor Room Banquet Center can accommodate meetings and events for up to 125 guests.
“We believe in a better boating experience and the addition of OYC brings new offerings we’ve not had before in vacation rentals and restaurant and banquet facilities as well as expanding our slips, fuel dock, and rental boats,” said Anderson. “We believe OYC will have an immediate positive impact for Big Thunder’s clients and help us as we continue to grow.
