Fountain’s New 34 SC And 43 NX Stand Out At Fort Lauderdale Show

Today marks the midway point of this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which opened Wednesday and runs through Sunday, and so far, so good, according to the crew manning the Fountain Powerboats booth, which is located in Red Zone G/H Dock 6-8, 12.

“We’re showing off four incredible boats at the show,” said Jeremy Anderson, general manager of the Lake Ozark, Mo.-based Big Thunder Marine, which opened a second location at the PGA Marina and Boating Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., in June. “The 43 NX with quad Mercury Racing 450R engines really stands out, but the new 34 SC has been getting just as much attention. I think it is the best-looking 34 SC yet. Everything, from the paint and the interior to the SeaDek and the hardware, is top-notch and high-quality.”

Powered by twin Mercury Marine Verado 400 engines, the 34-footer features a beautiful blue and gray paintjob that was designed by Stephen Miles Design and applied in-house by Jeff Zohner and company at the Fountain facility in Washington, N.C. It is fully loaded electronics wise and it even has a bow thruster.

According to Anderson, the spacious new quad-engine 43-footer, which has Ferrari paint colors and is the first 43 NX to feature a Seakeeper anti-roll gyro system, went under contract the first day of the show. He said one of the dealership’s current MasterCraft customers from Lake of the Ozarks, who also has a home in Florida, committed to the luxury performance center console.

Anderson also said if anyone has questions regarding any of the models on display in the Fountain booth, or wants to order a new custom boat, to reach out to him or Ed Champion, or contact Big Thunder Marine and set up a demo ride at either location.
