Nor-Tech Charitable Outreach Continues With Donation From North American Composites

Thanks to the generosity of North American Composites, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats has made yet another charitable move in its ongoing, 30th anniversary celebration of giving. A key supplier of construction materials for the Southwest Florida-based high-performance center console, V-bottom sportboat and catamaran builder, Minnesota-headquartered NAC donated 500 cans of hand-sanitizing wipes to Nor-Tech, which in turned donated them to the Cape Coral Caring Center this week.

Nor-Tech’s Henrik Margård (second from right) was on hand to represent the company in its most recent charitable effort.

“Alex Cardenal, the Southeast district manager of NAC, called me about a pallet of hand-sanitizing wipes the company wanted to donate and we handed them over to one of our favorite local charities, the Cape Coral Caring Center,” said Henrik Margård, Nor-Tech’s chief operating officer.

Margård and other Nor-Tech team members made the presentation to the Cape Coral Caring Center, which is an emergency food pantry serving the local community. In December 2020, Nor-Tech donated more than 1,500 pounds of collected food and 1,200 purchased KN95 PPE masks to the nonprofit organization.

“NAC is a trusted Nor-Tech partner and they play an integral role in supplying us with various composites,” said Margård. “We are honored to work with them and grateful for their support, as well as their recent donation to the Cape Coral Caring Center.”
