Powerboat P1/P1 Offshore Ink A-Game Beverages As Series Partner

With the third event of the American Power Boat Association Offshore National Championship Series in Sarasota, Fla., scheduled for this Sunday, APBA member-organization Powerboat P1/P1 Offshore continues to add sponsors for the six-race series. The most recent of these is A-Game Beverages of Orlando, Fla., which has signed on as another strong series partner.

The news was announced in a press release from the United Kingdom-based P1 organization this morning.

“The aim for us in our new partnership with A-Game Beverages is to deliver tangible, commercial results to meet their business needs,” said Azam Rangoonwala, the chief executive officer of Powerboat P1, in the release. “As a Series Partner, they will benefit from our extensive television broadcast schedule—with our one-hour shows after each race event being screened in the United States on Bally Sports regional sports networks and CBS Sports Network and on leading sports channels around the world—as well as involvement with our leading race teams.

“Partnerships are at the heart of our business and we will be working closely with A-Game Beverages over the coming months,” he added.

Though this is the first offshore powerboat racing sponsorship foray for the beverage company, which according to the release “produces hydration drinks for adults and children with no artificial flavors, colors and sweeteners,” A-Game has motorsports marketing experience as a NASCAR sponsor. In addition to the P1 Offshore-specific benefits of television exposure, social media effort, race-site-based marketing opportunities such as VIP hospitality gatherings and signage, A-Game will be among the sponsors of Shaun Torrente’s Super Stock-class 32-foot CMR-backed raceboat.

“We are confident that our new relationship with P1 will provide a platform to spread the word about our drinks in new areas and open new doors for us,” said Randall Greene, the chief executive officer of A-Game Beverages, in the release. “The sponsorship with Shaun Torrente’s team will give us firsthand involvement with highly professional racers in the largest and most competitive class in the offshore championship.”

A-Games Beverages produces hydration drinks with all-natural ingredients for adults and children.
