Sold-Out Super Cat Fest Seeking Go-Fast Boating Memorabilia For Host Venue

Organizers of the already sold-out 11th annual Super Cat Fest (August 25-30) at the Camden On The Lake Resort in Lake Ozark, Mo., are looking to dress up the extensive H. Toads entertainment complex with high-performance powerboating memorabilia. Alvin Heathman, the lead organizer of the event, met yesterday with the owners of the venue.

“They have great appreciation for the boaters and the support they have brought during the years,” he wrote in a Facebook post. “”They would like to line their walls with performance boating paraphernalia. If you have anything including jerseys, photos, flags, broken propellers, engine hatches and such that you can donate, you can bring it to the Camden On The Lake Resort or ship it there.”

Heathman said that he already has a growing waiting list for the event, which has sold out early for the past several years.

“I wish we had more rooms and slips,” he said. “But we don’t.”

Among the most popular events of the go-fast boating year,  Super Cat Fest has sold out early again.
