Outerlimits Stepping Up For FPC Miami Boat Show Exhibit On And Off The Water

Thanks to Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats, next month’s Florida Powerboat Club Miami Boat Show Poker Run exhibit—a boat show of its own—at Gilbert’s Resort in Key Largo will have exotic V-bottom sportboats to complement its array of center consoles and sport catamarans from Deep Impact, MTI, Mystic Powerboats, Nor-Tech and Concept Boats. The Bristol, R.I., high-performance custom V-bottom and catamaran builder committed to the February 18-21 event yesterday afternoon.

“We are going to bring (Outerlimits team member) Jason Bourne’s SV 50 and the SV 29 OB,” said Jason Amaral, the company’s operations manager. “We actually have a sale pending on the SV 50, and there’s some strong interest in the SV 29 as well.

“We’ll probably have the SV 50 in the water and we’re going to coordinate to have a couple of other 50s there,” he continued. “Our plan is to have the SV 29 on land.”

The company also plans to bring its Outerlimits-branded toter-home hauler to display in the event’s Poker Run Village behind Gilbert’s Resort.

Said Amaral, “We’ve been really, really busy, which is a good thing of course, and getting down there is a lot for us right now, but we think it will be worth the effort.”

Amaral said the Outerlimits team is planning to offer demo rides in the SV 29, Photo by Halsey Fulton copyright Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats.
