Countdown To Miami: Formula To Be A Show Of Force Inside And Out

Though it won’t have any FAS3Tech sportboats on display at the Miami International Boat Show Feb. 14-18, Formula Boats will have just about everything else it builds at the annual event on Virginia Key. The Decatur, Ind., company will feature indoor and outdoor exhibits, as well as two models at the Ilmor Marine docks, showcasing its latest and most popular offerings.

Unveiled last summer, the 400 Super Sport Crossover will be one of more than a dozen Formula models on display in Miami next month.

At its indoor exhibit, the company will display two outboard-powered models, a 330 Crossover Bow Rider and a 310 Bow Rider. On the sterndrive side under the big tent, Formula will show off its 290 and 270 Bow Riders.

In the water at its docks, Formula will be going bigger with a 45 Yacht, a 430 All Sport Crossover model, 430 and 400 Super Sport Crossover models, a 350 Sun Sport and an outboard-engine-powered 350 Crossover Bow Rider. In its Performance Cruiser series, the company will exhibit its 40-, 37- and 34-foot offerings.

Ilmor Marine power fans will find a pair of Ilmor-engine-powered Formula beauties—a 350 Crossover Bow Rider and 34 Performance Cruiser—at the Plymouth, Mich.-headquartered marine engine builder’s in-water display.
