Performance Boat Center Going With Roving Fleet For FPC Miami Boat Show Event

Tight on new inventory across all the brands it carries, Performance Boat Center does not have anything from Cigarette Racing Team, MTI, Sunsation Boats and Wright Performance to “park for the weekend” at the Gilbert’s Resort docks during the Florida Powerboat Club Miami Show Poker Run exhibit next month. Instead, the Osage Beach, Mo.-headquartered dealership, which has a satellite location in Hollywood, Fla., and just inked a yearlong sponsorship with the club, will have at least three roving boats—all coming down with the fleet for the February 18-21 event—based at the Playa Largo Resort.

All will be available for private demo rides mostly out of the Gilbert’s Resort venue. They include a Wright Performance 360 catamaran, a Wright 420 catamaran and an MTI V-42 center console.

“We’re going to go where the crowd wants to go,” said Brett Manire, who co-owns the company will Mark Waddington. “If that means going over to Gilbert’s and hanging out for the day, that’s what we’ll do. If the crowd goes somewhere else, we’ll go with it.”

Performance Boat Center’s Myrick Coil, Tim Gallagher and Rusty Williams will represent the dealership during the event. Manire said he hopes to be able to bring Cigarette Racing Team and Sunsation Boats products into the mix.

“That’s something we’re working on now, but we haven’t nailed anything down just yet,” he said.

Performance Boat Center will have this MTI V-42 center console available for private demos during the upcoming Miami Boat Show Poker Run.
