Sneak Peek: Nor-Tech’s Sultry 500 Sport Center Console

With 2021 Miami International Boat Show cancelled months ago, all eyes will be on next weekend’s Florida Powerboat Club Miami Boat Show Poker Run, which—as extensively reported on speedonthewater.com—will take over Gilbert’s Resort in Key Largo, Fla., with a high-performance powerboat exhibit of its own. The hardware coming (see the story list below) will be nothing short of outrageous.

Nor-Tech will debut its new 500 Sport Center Console, which is almost out of the paint booth at Stephen Miles Design, at next weekend’s Florida Powerboat Club event in Key Largo.

The event is particularly meaningful for Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats, which is sharing the presenting sponsor bill with Mercury Racing. Not only is the Fort Myers, Fla., boat company celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, it’s unveiling the latest addition to its expansive center console line. Dubbed the 500 Sport, the boat is going to repeat Nor-Tech client Jesse Neumann of Minnesota.

Not a moment too soon, the 50-footer’s Stephen Miles Design paintjob is almost complete. And it’s sexy—make that sultry—as hell. The Kentucky-based painter has set a high bar for himself as he and his team will painting the next two 500 Sport Center Consoles as well. But for the moment at least, Miles, who sent us the image above, and company can take a well-earned bow.
